BREAKING: Police Rescue Ex-AIG, Odumosu’s wife, Kill Abductors

Barely a week after her abduction, operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have rescued the wife of the former Assistant Inspector General, Hakeem Odumosu.

On Thursday morning, the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed this on his official X handle.

Adejobi added that the abductors of Mrs Folasade Odumosu were killed, and ransom used as bait was recovered from the culprits.

He said the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, commended the police operatives and the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, for the rescue operation carried out on Wednesday.

Adejobi asserted that the Police Force is committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and the country.

Recall that Mrs Odumosu was abducted last Thursday night at the entrance of her residence in the Arepo area of Ogun State.

The victim was reportedly abducted by four masked men who attacked her, pulled her out of her Lexus Jeep, and drove away with her.
